We design by removing things

Oréva was founded above a locksmith on Rue de Castiglione with one coat, one cutter and a rented industrial press. The coat sold out. We made it again, better. A decade later the studio holds eleven people: two cutters, three machinists, a knit technician, and the rest of us who mostly keep out of their way. We work with four European mills, all family-held, all within a day's travel. Every order is finished, pressed and inspected by a person whose name is on the ticket.
